Warning: by the end of this post these inane lyrics will be firmly wedged in your head (and by the end of this week dozens of brands and celebrities will have attempted to land their own versions.)
According to its creators (PinkFong) “Baby Shark” has been watched 3.3 billion times and that’s not including the viral dance tributes.

The most popular version of the song on YouTube, featuring two small Korean children demonstrating the “Baby Shark Dance,” has 1.6 billion views alone.
The baby shark song is listed as one of the Top 40 most-viewed videos ever on YouTube.
