KLM install hologram bar to connect travellers

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines have built a hologram bar where travellers can ‘meet’ to exchange local tips at airports.
This new travel experience (installed in the Holland, Norway and Brazil) is called ‘Take-off Tips’ and is driven by 3-D facial scanning and hologram technology.
Rather than waiting for a flight, the idea is that passengers share local tips and cultural insights that customers can’t get from a guidebook.
Natascha van Roode, Head of KLM Marketing Communication, commented: “In our industry it is such a joy to be able to bring people together time and time again, we rejoice this in our latest campaign themes and ‘Take-off Tips’ is no exception. We continuously strive to find means to enable contact between customers including new technologies to create memorable experiences.”
