Group release Motorbike Symphony ahead of charity event

The annual Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is preparing to hit the road again for the Movember Foundation, raising funds for men’s health issues.

To raise awareness of the event the group enlisted the help of classical musician Dominic Seldis to create the world’s symphony whose instruments are motorcycle engines.

Seldis chose Strauss’ Also Sprach Zarathustra, for the project replacing traditional classical instruments with tones of various bikes high pitched cafe racers to rumbling choppers.

Not the sweetest symphony you’ll hear this week – but definitely the most creative.

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride was founded in Sydney, Australia by Mark Hawwa.

It was inspired by a photo of Mad Men’s Don Draper astride a classic bike and wearing his finest suit.

Mark decided a themed ride would be a great way to combat the often-negative stereotype of men on motorcycles, whilst connecting niche motorcycle communities together

On Sunday September 30th 2018, over 120,000 ‘distinguished gentlefolk’ in over 650 cities worldwide sit astride their classic and vintage styled motorcycles to raise funds and awareness for men’s health.
