TalkTalk TV takes parents on a trip down memory lane

New research reveals that nearly half of Brits don’t watch Kids TV with their children. In fact, despite the improved animation and choice, a third of us still believe Kids TV was better in our day.

But are we right?

Ahead of a forecasted Easter washout with plenty of potential for family TV time, TalkTalk TV has again enlisted the help of some kid critics, this time to share their unique (and very funny) take on some of the iconic shows that made up their parent’s childhood.

From The Magic Roundabout, to Mr Benn and Wacky Races, the tongue-in-cheek video brings a host of old classics to life through their eyes, with comments on the ‘funny walk of Mr Bean’ (Mr Benn) and the ‘old fashioned’ graphics.

It’s hoped the campaign will show how blinded we can be by nostalgia and encourage parents to consider some of the revamped versions of shows like Scooby Doo and Wacky Races available through the service’s Kids Boost this Easter.
