John Lewis is opening a replica Star Wars Cantina Bar this weekend

The Cantina Bar from Star Wars is surely up there on the list of ‘movie bars we’d all like to visit’, especially if young Han Solo is going to be there…
Well it’s time to check it off your list, because John Lewis is hosting a replica Cantina Bar from 1st-3rd September in its Oxford Street store.
The pop-up is to celebrate the launch of ‘Force Friday’ where fans of the franchise can get their hands on the very latest merchandise.
Fans can try the ‘Spice Smuggler’ cocktail and ‘Kessel Run’ mocktail, and use the bar for those all important selfies. There’ll also be augmented reality treasure hunts and build-a-droid workshops within the Oxford Street store.
The story has been picked up by London press, including Time Out, so I’m in no doubt that this will get a lot of footfall into store and be a lot of fun for fans of the Star Wars universe.
