Last weekend (13th and 14th December) 268 Tesco stores were transformed into every Star Wars fan’s dream.

Tesco locations including London, Manchester, Bristol, Edinburgh and Glasgow were transformed into a Star Wars activity centre.

The Tesco website allowed shoppers to find their nearest ‘Star Wars Store’ online here. Parents were encouraged to bring their children to take part in themed treasure hunts, arts and crafts, and visit the creative station, which hosted colouring-in activities and Lego building.

Parents could also print off ‘Star Wars activity sheets‘ created by Tesco off of its website, to keep their kids busy – I’m sure many a parent is thanking Tesco right now.

N2O brand activation agency was the Darth Vadar behind the stunt with brand ambassadors on hand to showcase the new Bladebuilder Lightsaber product over the 2 day event. Attendees were invited to try out the new offering, which allows consumers to mix and match Lightsaber pieces to make their own creation – personalisation at its best.

Visitors could also check out Tesco’s extensive range of Star Wars paraphernalia, which includes clothing, toys, gift sets and groceries such as Kellogg’s cereal and Star Wars celebration cakes.

Fans were encouraged to don a Star Wars costume and head down to their local store throughout the two-day event, which ran from 9-5 on Saturday, and from 10-4 on Sunday.
