Swear words turned upside down to bypass email firewalls in smart Tourettes Action campaign

In a campaign not dissimilar to this one, where Twitter users were encouraged to surrender control of their accounts and what was posted, charity Tourettes Action has found its way around email filters.

By turning swear words upside down and asking recipients of the email below to share it, the ‘Fuck the firewalls’ campaign aims to highlight how Tourettes sufferers are ‘filtered’ out by society.

I’d love the charity to get in touch when they’re able to, it’d be great to know if donations increased as a result and how much by, because, well, that’s what campaigns should do – create a reaction that isn’t just backslapping.
