Flowers and football fans aren’t exactly a famous coupling, but the marketing team at Borussia Dortmund have made a bold attempt to brighten up the spirits of their fans with a unique new kit launch. Last year’s losing Champions League finalists, Dortmund also lost their grip on the Bundesliga title to rivals Bayern Munich, they will be hoping this new kit plants the seeds for a successful season. Yes I went there, deal with it.

Each of the 80,000+ flowers  represents a seat in the team’s famous Westfalenstadion or Signal Iduna Park to be commercially correct, the ground can be seen in the top of the picture below. Puma the kit manufacturer used marigolds as well as black, pink and grey petunias to create these impressive images.
