Premier Inn rename suite ‘Rafa Benitez suite’ in cheeky Chelsea FC stunt – perfect for a short stay!

A Premier Inn hotel next to Stamford Bridge has named a suite after Chelsea’s new boss. In a really easy PR win they cheekily named the suite after the appointment of Rafa Benitez.

The tongue-in-cheek tribute suggests they don’t think Rafa will last long under owner Roman Abramovich.

The room boasts a comfy queen-sized bed, chaise-longue and ensuite bathroom – and staff are busy erecting a plaque to mark its dedication to Rafa. Bosses at the chain are even offering the Spaniard the chance to live in the suite named after him.

Hotel manager Stephen Luck said: “We’re perfectly located for a short stay. If he’s nervous of buying a house in the area, Rafa’s welcome to check in anytime and we will give him a great night’s sleep.”
