Honda Gets It Right With Ferris Bueller Tribute

By on Tuesday, January 31, 2012

The best part about the Super Bowl for many people are the ads. Honda’s campaign for their CR-V revisits one of my favorite films of all time, John Hughes’ classic Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, and has Matthew Broderick playing himself, but in a Ferris kind of manner, feigning sickness from the movie set so he can just hang out and be a slacker for a day. Todd Phillips, of The Hangover fame, directs this wonderful homage.

Here’s the extended version of the ad in all its glory.
