Uber offers NHS staff free rides over Christmas

‘Tis the season to be jolly – but it’s also a very busy time of year for NHS and emergency services. and many have no time off over the festive season to spend with family and friends.

Enter Uber, which is offering NHS staff free rides from the 24th – 26th December, and generating some very positive PR for itself in the process.

 

Staff just need to register their NHS email address via the website and will get a code sent on Friday 22nd for up to £10 off two trips from Christmas Eve until Boxing Day.

It’s a nice move from Uber, which has received its fair share of negative press during 2017, and has been picked up by Metro online, Mirror.co.uk and WalesOnline as well as several nursing and NHS titles.
