Spanish hotel opens ‘sanctuary’ for pool inflatables that have been abandoned by holidaymakers

Hotels.com has set up a ‘sanctuary’ for pool inflatables at a hotel in Majorca that have been left behind by people at the end of their holidays.

The abandoned pool toys wait silently for their new homes

Guests can now ‘adopt’ these forgotten inflatables and provide them a new home… hopefully they won’t return them to the sanctuary at the end of the holiday!

There are unicorns, flamingos, peacocks, crocodiles and donuts to choose from, providing the perfect inflatable for everyone.

This is a simple but effective stunt, with a lot of nationals covering it, including The Sun, Telegraph and Daily Mail. I’m pretty sure everyone wants an inflatable on holiday but don’t want to buy one and leave it so this is a great solution for holidaymakers!
