That’s the way the cookie crumbles

If you have been travelling through Old Street station recently you will have smelt the sweet success of Blondie’s Kitchen. The two-week pop-up selling handmade cookies has been swamped with nostalgia hungry crowds looking to take a bite out of east London’s latest craze.

Long gone is the donut, and thanks for coming ‘cronut’ but this October has been all about the humble cookie. Taking inspiration from New York bakeries, milk and cookies are the perfect autumnal treat and come in a fantastic variety of flavours including Oreo, Nutella and the classic chocolate chip.

The baking duo behind the brand are a relentless, selling cookies by day and baking by night, which doesn’t leave a lot of room for sleep. And speaking of lack of time, their only around until Friday 28th October, so if you’re desperate to get your hands on London’s best cookies you need to go, go, go!

If you weren’t already salivating and working out the quickest route to Old Street, alongside five varieties of cookies there is three types of milk! The chilled bottles of Coco Pops milk (also handmade) are as glugable as you can imagine.

See you in the queue!
