Private driver service Uber took to the roads of 33 cities across the globe this week with new initiative Uber Ice Cream, delivering ice cream to its app users.

A team of ice cream vans in Miami, Rome, Berlin and London, which is currently in the grips of the warmest heatwave since 2006, helped customers cool down with a refreshing 99.
Mobile App Marketing – Uber Ice Cream Delivery
Users of the Uber Android or iPhone app in the selected cities could use the app to request an ice cream van to drive to their location for a cool down treat. Costing £20 for five Mr Whippy cones with a 99 flake, app users could also pay for their sweet treat via the app.
Customers were encouraged to tweet using the hashtag #UberIceCream.
