TorTyrrells Mariachi tour

By on Wednesday, May 9, 2012

What better way to start your morning than the sound of a mexican Mariachi band and a free bag of TorTyrrells, the new tortilla chip from Tyrrells.

To celebrate the launch of TorTyrrells, in full traditional dress, a Mariachi band played their way through the streets of London, from Leicester Square to London Bridge, accompanied by fellow amigos handing out the new snacks!

Produced on their Herefordshire farm, Tyrrells has given the Mexican tortilla a British twist, mixing traditional corn chips with English herbs and seasonings to create three flavours: Glastonbury Cheddar & Caramelised Onion, Rather Hot English Chilli and Somerset Sour Cream (available in 175g bags).

A fun piece of PR promo generally goes down a treat, and walking up Carnaby Street this morning the band were certainly not hard to miss, made people smile, and I bagged myself a packet of TorTyrrells for the office!
